COURSE DESCRIPTION
Burnham Market is an all-grass course on well-drained, undulating farmland in a hilly part of Norfolk, which includes a water complex. Every effort will be made to ensure good going. Excellent spectator viewing. The design of the course is to ensure a suitable stepping stone for Spring 3DE’s for horses at all levels.

Classes and fees
Three and four-star competitors should expect to do dressage on Friday and Saturday with all jumping taking place on Sunday.
The Advanced section may run on Friday or Saturday, depending on entries. Priority will always be given to those able to accommodate us in this challenging schedule.
Competitors in International Classes only – please note in addition to your entry fee, at the time of entry you will be charged an extra fee of £18 for three-star competitors and £25 for four-star competitors. This is charged by the FEI for the Worldwide Equine and Human Anti-Doping Program. This fee will be refunded in full if your entry is withdrawn.

Prizes
National Classes – rosettes to 10th place. Prize money to be confirmed.
International Classes – rosettes to 15th place. Prize money to be confirmed.
Prize money allocations can be found at Eventing Scores once results have been published. To claim prize money riders must complete the online PRIZE FORM (only this form will be accepted) by 11th May 2026 or prize money will be forfeited.

Stabling
On-site stabling: £180 per stable inc. VAT for the duration of the event. The last day to book onsite stables will be Monday 31st March.
2 bales of bedding will be provided with all on-site stabling additional bedding can be purchased at £10.00 per bale from the Stable Manager’s Office
Stabling bookings are to be made at the time of entry on the BE entry site. Hook-Up at a cost of £175 inc. VAT will be available for the duration of the event.
PLEASE NOTE – Only athletes that are competing in Burnham Market’s FEI classes can stable companion/national competing horses in the FEI Stables Area, as long as these horses are FEI registered and comply with vaccination/ other FEI requirements. This is not only for biosecurity reasons, but also for reasons of jurisdiction.
PLEASE NOTE –
FEI regulations state that a BE or Non Competing Horse and an FEI Competing Horse may not be stabled together unless the following is adhered to:-
- BE or Non Competing Horse must be registered with the FEI
- BE or Non Competing Horse must have had it’s most recent flu vaccine within the last 6 months.
- BE or Non Competing Horse must reside at the same yard as the FEI Competing Horse.
- BE or Non Competing Horse must have it’s temperature checked and recorded on the FEI App as per FEI regulations.
- BE or Non Competing Horse must be checked in by the vet as per FEI regulations.
All CCI4*-S competitors choosing to utilise the FEI Stabling Derogation and stable off-site and a location not booked through the OC must provide full details of the location and the person responsible.
It is the Person Responsible (PR) responsibility to ensure the Minimum Stable Requirements for Horses during an Event as per the FEI Veterinary Regulations Article 1008.III.10 are adhered to.

In addition, the attached form will need to be completed and returned to the OC no later than the arrivals horse inspection.
Off-site Local stabling – available from £35 per night.
Bedding is not guaranteed and you may have to bring your own. Please go here where you will find a link to all our offsite providers.
Stabling Refunds – Only withdrawals prior to 06/04/2026 will receive a refund in full. After this date, withdrawal of stabling will only be refunded if the stable can be re-sold. All refunds will be made after the event. Musketeer Stabling Refund policy

Owners – Owners & Riders Entrance Policy
OWNERS – up to three pairs of registered owners of competing horses (as according to the current British Eventing database) will gain entry via their e-ticket.
Tickets will be emailed to the registered owners email the week of the event and will come from they do sometimes go to spam/junk so it is worth checking.
Those who are not British Eventing members and foreign owners can email no later than the Monday before the start of the event to obtain their ticket.
Tickets will not be needed for anyone travelling in horse transport.
OWNERS MARQUEE – no additional pass is required to gain access and is open to ALL owners
Please note as per the British Eventing FEI Event Admission Policy for Owners:
– Each individual horse owner(s) as listed in the FEI passport are entitled to 1 car pass for a minimum of two (2) Owners per Horse (Owners Article 132 – 1.)
– BE registered syndicates are entitled to 3 car passes
All-Terrain Vehicles/Motorcycles – will NOT be permitted.
Dogs – must be kept on leads at all times.
Litter – No skipping out of lorries or trailers – please take all litter home. Penalty for non-compliance
