BURNHAM MARKET INTERNATIONAL – VISITOR INFORMATION

We are so excited to welcome visitors back to the Barefoot Retreats Burnham Market International Horse Trials 2026.

What’s on at the Barefoot Retreats Burnham Market International Horse Trials? Here is a run down of what to expect.


🐴Friday 17th April – CCI 3* and 4* Dressage- The National classes will be competing all day in Dressage, Showjumping and Cross – Country!


🐴Saturday 18th April – More CCI3* and 4* Dressage throughout the day.- The National sections competing in Dressage, Showjumping and Cross – Country


🐴Sunday 19th April- CCI3* and CCI4* Competitors will be taking to the main ring and Cross – County course for the final two phases of their competition.


As well as the 3 – days of eventing action there will be lots of other things to see and do:


🛍🛒A tradestand village with a variety of exhibitors selling everything from jackets to saddlery, tasty treats for people and pets, luxury footwear and much more!


🍩🍔There will be lots of delicious food vendors available to choose from, so do not worry if you forget your picnic.


🍺🥂 It is 5o’clock somewhere?! Why not enjoy a glass or two from the cash bar!


🐑The Woolly Warriors are also coming along to say hello, they have made a special trip down from the local farm.


🦅🐶The Falconry is back this year along with the terrier racing, bring your hound and see if you can beat them!


🎡🎢Funfair is making a return, with funfair rides and candy floss!

Admission:

The admission price entitles spectators to enter the event site, to purchase tickets please go to the box office. Tickets purchased in advance benefit from a discounted price – there will be tickets available to purchase on the gates 💸. Children aged 4 or under are free. The child tariff refers to children between the ages of 5 and 14 years old.

Disabled Access & Parking


Forward parking is available for Blue Badge holders. Please speak to the team at the gate and show your Blue Badge; they will direct you to the forward parking area.

Carers are eligible for a complimentary general admission ticket when accompanying a full-price adult ticket holder. To obtain a carer pass, please contact with your ticket ID and proof of carer status.

Owners:


OWNERS – up to three pairs of registered owners of competing horses (as according to the current British Eventing database) will gain entry via their e-ticket.
Tickets will be emailed to the registered owners email the week of the event and will come from they do sometimes go to spam/junk so it is worth checking.
Those who are not British Eventing members and foreign owners can email no later than the Monday before the start of the event to obtain their ticket.
Tickets will not be needed for anyone travelling in horse transport.
OWNERS MARQUEE – no additional pass is required to gain access and is open to ALL owners
Please note as per the British Eventing FEI Event Admission Policy for Owners:

BE registered syndicates are entitled to 3 car passes

Each individual horse owner(s) as listed in the FEI passport are entitled to 1 car pass for a minimum of two (2) Owners per Horse (Owners Article 132 – 1.)

Opening Times:

Gates will open daily at 8am and remain open until the end of competition each day (usually around 18:00).
