New title sponsor for Cholmondeley Castle Horse Trials

Glasgow based equestrian on-line retailer Eqclusive has signed a deal to take the title sponsorship of our most northerly horse trials, Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire. Established in 2016 and the brainchild of Marta Kotonska, an ex-groom and entrepreneur, Eqclusive stocks a high quality and extensive range of products, including its flagship packs of grooming brushes which have proved a runaway success.

“Taking title sponsorship of an event is an exciting new step for Eqclusive. I believe that Cholmondeley Castle will be a great venue to meet both new and existing clients and raise awareness of our relatively new business,” explained Marta. “Our most recently sponsored event rider Ros Canter is a regular competitor there so it will also be a great opportunity to cheer her on, and hopefully be presenting prizes to her at the end of the day.”

Cholmondeley Castle has hosted an affiliated horse trials since 2011; this year the event takes place on 29th & 30th July. The horse trials runs through the stunning parkland with the imposing castle a fitting backdrop to a weekend of top class sport. Cholmondeley Castle Estate, which also welcomes the Pony Club Championships each summer, has been lived in by the Cholmondeley family since 1200 although the current castle, designed by William Turner, was built more recently, in the nineteenth century.
