We are so excited to open our doors fully and welcome back all our spectators to Houghton International Horse Trials.

Admissions will be with tickets purchased online or on the gate. Please go to our box office to purchase tickets.  The admission entitles spectators to enter the event site, which includes the trade stand area, cross country course and Houghton Hall Park, but will not gain access to Houghton Hall itself or Houghton Gardens.  Should you wish to visit the Hall or Gardens, please visit www.houghtonhall.com

Trade Stands: There will be a number of trade stands and catering concessions on site for you to visit. A list will be available nearer the time.

Owners: Registered owners of horse(s) competing will not be restricted to one per horse and will be able to gain entry to the horse trials using the QR code provided with their British Eventing membership. This can be downloaded from their members profile on the British Eventing website. For those requiring additional owners onsite,  or for owners registered with an overseas federation, please email

Children: Children aged 4 or under are free.  The child tariff refers to children between the ages of 5 and 14 years old.

Opening Times: Gates will open daily at 8am and remain open until the end of competition each day (usually around 18:00).

General Parking: Please note there is no charge for general parking.

Picnic Parking:  There are a limited number of parking places available  near to the water jump (Saturday and Sunday only), which will provide a fabulous place to have a picnic in the middle of the cross country course.  These parking places can only be purchased in advance and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.  The price is for parking only and does not include any vehicle occupants, these must be purchased separately.  (No minibuses or caravans)
