Entries open for Bacon.co.uk Burnham Market International Horse Trials
In one month’s time many of the best event riders in the country will be at Sussex Farm, fighting for the spoils at this year’s Bacon.co.uk Burnham Market International Horse Trials. Entries opened last week, via Musketeer’s brand new website, and already Zara Phillips, Laura Collett and Lucy Jackson are amongst those to have thrown their hats into the ring.
Advanced and CIC3* riders will have a couple of brand new fences to tackle including a ditch/mound complex, and work is ongoing to put the finishing touches to a new water complex. Meanwhile the ongoing ground preparation continues, to give riders and their horses the best possible experience.
The Event organisers are also delighted to welcome back An Eventful Life to Burnham Market. Their team will be videoing all combinations around the cross country courses, at every level. Hugely popular with both riders and owners, An Eventful Life’s unique video system captures the action at almost every fence on course – sample videos from last year’s event can be seen on the Musketeer website. Competitor videos can be viewed online, via An Eventful Life’s website, within five days of the Event and are, of course, available to buy.
The Bacon.co.uk Burnham Market International takes place on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Saturday, 2nd – 4th April. With world class competition amongst riders preparing their horses for either the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials or Rolex Kentucky, a range of tradestands and food outlets, children’s entertainment, and the opportunity to sign up for superb, pre-booked corporate hospitality, there is something for all the family to enjoy
