All systems go at FEI Houghton International

All CCI1* and CCI2* horses sailed through yesterday’s first horse inspection against the stunning background of Houghton Hall.

Dressage for both sections starts at 9am this morning after the two ‘guinea pig’ tests have been ridden. This year’s 1* guinea pig is Rhiannon Rix riding Monte Carrio, and the 2* guinea pig is Nini French on Time For Harry.

The CICO*** dressage starts at 2pm today, with Denis Mesples and Oregon de la Vigne first in to the arena.

Away from the International classes, the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse competitions take place today – the Four Year Olds in action at 10am and the Five Year Olds at 1pm. The Sema Lease Arena Eventing 100cm is at 4.30pm and the CCIYR** Trot Up at 5.30pm.
