All set for the Saracen Horse Feeds Houghton International Horse Trials

Preparations are done, the trot up has taken place and the FEI Nations Cup running order has been drawn… we’re all ready for competition to get underway at Houghton Hall!

Earlier today the draw for the FEI Nations Cup running order was made, which established Team Ireland as our pathfinders. The Australian team will follow in second, with the British Team running third. Action gets underway for this highly anticipated team competition on Saturday with dressage and show jumping, followed by the thrill of the cross country on Sunday.

The trot up for the CCI2*-L and CCI3*-L sections took place against the stunning backdrop of Houghton Hall this afternoon, with all horses passed fit to compete. It might have been a little damp, but there was still plenty of style on display. Dressage for these sections begins tomorrow morning.
