2012 promises to be an exciting year for the sport of horse trials and I am pleased to say that we are already looking forward to the new season, as we are now taking trade stand bookings for our 2012 events.
To kick the season off we have The SPC Burnham Market International Horse Trials which runs from Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th April 2012. The event is very popular and attracts numerous world class riders, with many using us as a pre-badminton run. We also have an excellent turn out of spectators, especially as we are running over the Easter weekend; they can watch all the action, shop in the trade stand area and enjoy a variety of other attractions.
In May the Subaru Houghton International Horse Trials attracts thousands of people to the stunning parkland of Houghton Hall in Norfolk. Running from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th May, there’s something for everyone. A variety of additional classes for the professional and amateur, demonstrations for the young and old and even a 18th Century house and gardens to explore. As one of the largest Internationals of its kind in Europe, the 5th running of the Subaru Houghton International Horse Trials promises to be bigger and better than ever. Making its return to the eventing calendar in 2011, Cholmondeley Castle Horse Trials is looking forward to its second year. Set in the 7500 acres of the stunning estate, it provides the perfect backdrop for an event, which runs on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July 2012. With a massive 600 entries last year the event was full to bursting and received fantastic feedback from spectators and competitors. This is certainly an event which we plan to enhance and grow over the years to come.
Our final event of the season Burnham Market (2) runs over the weekend of the 15th and 16th September 2012. Once again many of the top class riders make the long journey to compete in Norfolk. This year we are offering a 15% discount off your stand, if you attend The SPC Holdings Burnham Market International Horse Trials in the spring.
