Burnham Market International

 Thursday 2nd - Saturday 3rd April 2015

The Burnham Market International Horse Trials is an event not to be missed!

The Burnham Market International Horse Trials is based in North West Norfolk.  One of the country's finest events where visitors can see a multitude of Olympic and Championship athletes competing on home turf.

Since the first event ran in 1999 at Sussex Farm is has become well established within the eventing calendar.  It was awarded international status in 2003, when it ran a CIC**, now the event hosts a range of classes from BE100 through to CIC***.

There are two international classes, CIC** and CIC*** held at Burnham Market over the three days.  Both are classed as 'one-day' events, which means they perform their dressage test on either Thursday or Friday and complete the show jumping, followed by the cross country on Saturday.  (Click Here - for more information about the three phases of eventing)

Riders who regularly compete at Burnham Market include Zara Phillips, Team GB Olympians William Fox-Pitt, Pippa Funnell and local girl Piggy French.
