The Saracen Horse Feeds Houghton International Horse Trials incorporating the FEI Nations Cup has it all; exhilarating sporting action, a spectacular setting, entertainment for young and old, plus shopping at over 70 trade stands. Set in the magnificent grounds of Houghton Hall, Norfolk, this truly is one of the most outstanding venues within the sport of eventing.
After gaining International status in 2007 the event now welcomes over 700 horses each year, including more than 350 International competitors. It hosts the only British leg of the FEI Eventing Nations Cup, a series where teams from as far afield as Australia and New Zealand battle it out to top the table come the final event at Boekelo, Holland, in October. In addition Houghton also hosts the Saracen Horse Feeds British Eventing U21 National Championships.

Saracen Horse Feeds Houghton International offers a fantastic day out for all the family.
Children’s Entertainment: Razz and Pearl’s Circus Workshops provide fantastic entertainment for children of all ages. Whether it’s balloon animals or spinning plates, they’ve got it all. Razz and Pearl will be at Houghton International on both Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May. We also have bouncy castles, tea cups, hook a duck…
Shopping: With over 70 exhibitors, there are plenty of opportunities to grab a bargain. There’s everything on offer including country clothing, equestrian supplies, local produce and garden furniture. There will also be a range of catering stands, so you should find something to tickle your tastebuds. There is a licensed bar onsite, located within the main marquee.
Arena Competitions: Running alongside the International event, there are also a variety of competitions which take place in the three arenas. Competitions include Affiliated British Showjumping, Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse, Combined Training, Arena Eventing, Nags Essentials Unaffiliated Showjumping, Unaffiliated Dressage and Pony Club Team Showjumping. Dogs: We welcome well behaved dogs to the event, but they must be kept on a short lead at all times, and we ask that owners are respectful and clear up after their dogs. Please do not leave dogs unattended in locked vehicles. If an unattended dog is found, the RSPCA will be informed and the appropriate action will be taken. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the VIP hospitality marquee.
Food and Drink: There are over 10 food units around the site during the event, catering for as many needs as possible. There is a licensed bar onsite, located within the marquee.
